At Gino’s of Nesconset, we are more than just a pizzeria—we are a family, deeply rooted in Sicilian tradition and passionate about sharing our love for authentic Italian cuisine.

Our story begins in Sicily, where our parents, Giuseppe and Carla Licata, were born. Some of our fondest memories come from summers spent in the kitchen with our Grandma Vincenza, learning the art of making sauce the way it’s meant to be—simple, fresh, and full of love.

Following in our father’s footsteps, my brother Michael Licata and I, Joe Licata, grew up in the restaurant business, working alongside him and learning everything from kneading dough to running a successful kitchen. As our passion for the industry grew, so did our family team. Our cousin, Michael Grimaudo, joined us, carrying the same dedication to quality and tradition that has defined our family for generations.

One of the most inspiring parts of our journey has been watching our team grow. Alex Tully, who started with us as a busboy at just 16 years old, has become a key part of our business and its continued success. His hard work and commitment reflect the very values we cherish—dedication, passion, and the belief that great food brings people together.
